There are a number of benefits, some of which will be more relevant to your current needs. The award also has been nationally validated by the Quality in Careers Standard (QiCS) which is the overarching standard for CEIAG quality awards. To find out more about benefits click here
The award can very extremely beneficial to those new to the role. Stage One requires you to carry out a self- assessment of the school/college provision and this can help you get a much clearer picture of CEIAG in the school and help you form an action plan to take you forward.
This depends on you and your organisation. Stage One enables you to assess your current provision and from this develop an action plan. If you have a lot of actions these may take longer to put in place, before you progress to the next stage/s. However on average it usually takes about 1year-18months.
